Brenda Moore MSW- LP, CEO and Founder
Brenda is a Master of Social Work with a degree earned from Stony Brook
University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Walden University both degrees with a concentration in addictions. Brenda founded the organization in 2013. The organization was incorporated and obtained its 501c3 designation in 2018. The purpose of the organization is to provide safe, supportive and structured recovery housing on Long Island, under Brenda’s guidance and with her vision.
Tricia A. Bookhart – Board Member
Tricia A. Bookhart is a native of Long Island, New York. She has worked in the Human Resources field for 25 years starting her career at Cablevision Systems Corporation and was then employed for 16 years with Paychex Corporation as a HR Consultant/Business Partner. Tricia Bookhart obtained her Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, New York. She has also obtained her Master of Arts in Leadership & Management in May 2016 from Trinity Seminary, and a second Master of Arts in Human Resources with a Non-Profit Concentration from Hope University in 2020. Tricia unapologetically embraces the mission to impact the lives of those she is connected to and make an imprint on their future success.
Tamarah Taylor – Board Member – Direct Support Program Specialist
Tamarah has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community & Human Services from SUNY Empire State College, an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Katherine Gibbs.
Tamarah provides direct support for clients along with program activities.
Ronita Humphrey – Board Member
Ronita earned her Bachelors in Human Services from SUNY Empire State College in 2015. She is currently enrolled in her last year at Stony Brook University, working towards her Masters in Social Work. Ronita has worked in the social services field for over 13 years and completed most of her coursework in the same field. Through her college coursework, internship, and prior and current work experiences, she has gained hands-on experience and knowledge with the adolescent population, families, and communities. Through her most recent role as a substance abuse counselor, she has learned solid experience in effective rehabilitation and counseling. In addition, through her internship as a primary counselor in an adolescent residential rehabilitation treatment facility, she has gained a comprehensive set of skills and understanding to positively effect lasting change in the lives of adolescents, with results overreaching.
